An unforgettable ride across Valais, Bernese, Uri, Graubünden and Ticino cantons. An itinerary among glaciers, historical climbs – most of them over 2000 meters – typical Swiss towns and villages, reaching at the end the Lake Maggiore’s banks.
A huge classic, with legendary alpine climbs and some hidden gems, making our trip more interesting and challenging, and even most satisfying at the end, paying back all efforts made.
The proposed itinerary, with the climbs and difficulties shown here, is, like all DR cycling Tours proposals, fully customizable, as a custom suit, on the needs, tastes, preparation of each client, with maximum flexibility– both by planning the trip, and on the field– thanks to the management in small groups with the assistance of qualified guides and the support of equipped vehicles.

From Domodossola we will cross the Alpine divide at the Simplon Pass. Our adventure in Switzerland will continue by climbing the epic Grimsel, Grosse Scheidegg and Susten passes.
Reaching Grindelwald and Wengen, historical resorts closely linked to alpinism and alpine skiing, we will ride in the shadow of the Eiger north face, before heading to Andermatt, nice village lying at the foot of Furka Pass, immortalized by James Bond’s films and cars chasing over his switchbacks.
We will face the world-famous and terrible tour of Furka-Nufenen-Gotthard passes, riding the wonderful Via Tremola: more than 100 km with over 3000 metres of elevation gain, breath-taking landscapes and amazing roads.
Crossing Oberalp and Lucomagno passes we will approach the Lake Maggiore, not without the delight of the hardest Swiss climb toward the Naret Lake. A challenge for all cyclists, rewarding them by incredible views all along the climb.
Finally, we will get back to Domodossola by Pian dei Sali pass.
