In the heart of the Gran Paradiso National Park, the Colle del Nivolet is not only one of Europe’s most beautiful climbs for road bikers, it is a true mountain bike paradise!
On the banks of stunning lakes in which the glaciers of the Gran Paradiso and the Levanne reflect, or higher towards the Col Leynir over 3,000 meters, we will ride extremely flowing single tracks. The Mulattiera Reale, heritage of king Vittorio Emanuele’s hunting offer us a thousand meters of easy and exciting descent.
The proposed itinerary, with the climbs and difficulties shown here, is, like all DR cycling Tours proposals, fully customizable, as a custom suit, on the needs, tastes, preparation of each client, with maximum flexibility– both by planning the trip, and on the field– thanks to the management in small groups with the assistance of qualified guides and the support of equipped vehicles.

Starting in Ceresole Reale or from Lago Serrù, DR Cycling Tours leads you to discover the amazing landscape at the border between Piedmont and Aosta Valley and the incredible trails running over the high mountain plateau lying at the foot of the Gran Paradiso’s glaciers.
Physical and technical difficulties can be adapted to each rider’s skills, infact a bike shuttle service to Lago Serrù will also be available.
The wonderful Tour of the Lakes runs over the fantastic single tracks leading to the Rosset Lake, before touching the waters of the Lozere lakes and descending the old military road, nowadays a simple and amazing path taking back to Ceresole.
Daring bikers will love the climb to the Col Leynir at an altitude of 3.084 meters: a real daydream, a single-track party between the highest mountains of the region and an unforgettable descent.
